Matlock Raft Event - Park & Ride
Leave the stress of parking behind and let the train take the strain.
Departing on Friday 26th December
Travel on our Heritage DMU from Rowsley South Station (DE4 2LF) which has a large free car park, straight into the heart of Matlock, only a 5 minute walk from the River Derwent.
Fares cost £10 per Adult/Senior/ unaccompanied Child, with all accompanied children travelling free!
This includes return travel on the Steam Hauled Train, Departing Matlock at 11:40, 13:40 & 15:40.
Alternatively you can upgrade for only £5 more for adults and enjoy unlimited rides on the Steam hauled train.
Every traveller will receive a free mince pie on the return trip.
Train Times:
Train 1: Depart Rowsley South 09:30 arriving Matlock Platform 2 09:50.
Train 2: Depart Rowsley South 10:15 arrive Matlock Platform 2 10:35.
Both services will get you into Matlock in plenty of time for the race to start at 11:00.
Wheelchair access: Wheelchair users can be accommodated, one per train, to book please email events@peakrail.co.uk. Please note that passengers with mobility difficulties will need to climb up or down one step. (A ramp is available, please state if required at the time of booking).
