Departing on Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th December

Travel on our Heritage DMU from Rowsley South Station (DE4 2LF) which has a large free car park, straight into the heart of Matlock, only a 5 minute walk from the Victorian Matlock Christmas Market. 
 

Fares cost £5 per Adult/Senior/ unaccompanied Child, with all accompanied children travelling free! 

Train Times:

Train 1: Depart Rowsley South 09:00 arriving Matlock Platform 2 09:20. Depart Matlock Platform 2 at 14:10 arrive Rowsley South 14:30

Train 2: Depart Rowsley South 09:50 arrive Matlock Platform 2 10:10. depart Matlock Platform 2 at 16:00 arrive Rowsley South 16:20

Please note, each ticket contains both the out and return times, which cannot be split I.e if you travel on the 09:00, you must return on the 14:10 and if you travel on the 09:50, you must return on the 16:00. This is to ensure we do not have passengers standing. 
 

Wheelchair access: Wheelchair users can be accommodated, one per train, to book please email events@peakrail.co.uk. Please note that passengers with mobility difficulties will need to climb up or down one step. (A ramp is available, please state if required at the time of booking).

Enjoy some time away from the TV, and stretch you legs for a wander around Matlock, and maybe take the kids to the park to blow off some steam.

Every traveller will receive a free mince pie onboard the train. Hot and cold drinks and alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase on the train. At Rowsley South Station, Hot and Cold food and drinks are available in Rowsley South Tearooms.

Adult: £15
Senior (66+): £10
All children up to the age of 15, travel for free when accompanied by a full fare paying Adult/Senior.

Pay once and travel all day, or hop on-hop off as often as you like.
