Diesel Driver Experience
Why not try your hand at driving our diesel locomotive Class 44 D8 ‘Penyghent’, these days will include hauling a round trip with carriages to Matlock and return. Family and friends can ride ‘on the cushions’ whilst you drive, photos and video stops are part of the trip. You get to feel what it was like to haul a train back up the valley to Rowsley.
Timeslots available are either 11:30-13:30 or 13:30-15:30 (These times are approximate).
