Our Afternoon Tea trains will operate on most Saturdays throughout the year and will Leave Rowsley South station at 14.00 for a full round trip though the beautiful Derwent valley whilst you enjoy a delicious Afternoon Tea. Our Afternoon Tea consist of a selection of sandwiches and a piece of homemade quiche followed by a homemade scone served with clotted cream, butter and strawberry preserve, fresh strawberries and a selection of homemade cakes all served with a choice of either tea or coffee and a complimentary glass of Prosecco or Orange Juice. Due to catering constraints, we are unable to offer an alternative to the menu with the exception of a vegetarian option.

Our Pie & Pea Evening Land Cruise will be depart on the 29th June from Rowsley South station at 18:00 for a full round trip though the beautiful Derwent valley whilst you enjoy a delicious Homemade Pie & Pea and a Pint.
This train will take you back to the golden age of Steam Hauled dining trains, whilst being served by our attentive waiting staff, the onboard bar will also be open serving a range of hot & cold drinks and locally brewed alcoholic beverages.
Due to catering constraints, we are unable to offer an alternative to the menu with the exception of a vegetarian option.
Seating: Seating on this train will be around tables of 2,3 or 4. Please note that we can not guarantee that bookings of less than 4 people will be seated on a exclusive table.

We will be running a special Cheese and Wine evening on the train on the 24th May, Peak Rail have joined up with The Cromford Cheese Shop and Amber Valley Vineyard to offer an evening of Local Cheese and Wine tasting, with expert guidance, on board our vintage carriages. Please note that for this event, you may be sharing a table of four with other passengers, depending on the size of your party.

Imagine a beautifully restored steam train chugging along picturesque countryside, its vintage charm evoking a sense of nostalgia. The Dram Route consists of 6 Whisky Tastings, with expert guidance, and nibbles on a full journey to Matlock and return.
The train departs from Rowsley South Station at 18:00.

Hop aboard and join the White Peak Distillery Tasting Experience
Step aboard our vintage train for a journey of flavour with White Peak Distillery. This guided tasting features a curated selection of their award-winning spirits, including Wire Works Whisky, Shining Cliff Gin, and White Peak Rum. The experience will also include some cold tapas to complement the tasting. The Tapas will be suitable for vegetarians, however we are unable to cater for any other dietary requirements.
As the train glides through the Derbyshire countryside, immerse yourself in the rich stories behind each spirit, guided by the passionate team from White Peak Distillery. Learn about their unique distilling process, the heritage of their craft, and the inspiration behind every bottle.
The onboard bar will be open serving cocktails throughout the journey, featuring the White Peak range.
